Referencing the letter from congress about the continuous beach restoration by man. The solution is simple: Get the environmental agency off our backs and let the breakwaters be built. Their reason for denying the break waters project to move forward is purely ridiculous and shortsighted. While their main concern is the disruption of the turtle’s orientation to find the beaches on which to lay their eggs, what about the fact that without the beach areas there will be no place on which to lay their eggs! What is worse, disrupting their orientation to find the beaches or let them find the beaches restored by man, lay their eggs and have them washed away by the first high tide?????
