City staff re-inspected the Ocean Mall site on May 21, 2015. The May 21, 2015 inspection yielded the following results (City staff and property management present; Mr. Wayne Richards, Ms. Cathy Hosn, Mr. Peter Ringle, and Mr. Jeff Gagnon):
In September 2014, the City issued Public Improvement Bonds to initiate infrastructure improvements at the Riviera Beach Marina and to address street infrastructure needs across the city.

The City of Riviera Beach Community Development Agency (CRA) will hold a community meeting on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 6pm to update area residents on future plans for redevelopment of the south end of Singer Island.



SICA has a long history of concern for the preservation of our island’s habitat and natural assets. As important as the ocean is to our Singer Island culture, ecology and economy, so too is that portion of the Intracoastal Waterway bordering western Singer Island known as the Lake Worth Lagoon.

A public meeting was held in the Colonnade Ballroom at the Palm Beach Marriott Resort at Singer Island, 3800 North Ocean Drive to inform Singer Island residents of the proposed construction of a residential con-dominium on the vacant property located north of the Hilton Hotel and south of the Marriott Resort.
Cleanup lasts 45 minutes and is open to everyone including the kids. The Singer Island Civic Association and local residents have organized and Island-wide beach cleanup to occur the second saturday of every month.

All of us keep asking, “What can I do to prevent development along the Lake Worth Lagoon submerged properties?”
